Welcome!
My name is Matt Dershewitz, and this is my education site. I offer academic support to high school and middle school students throughout Northern Virginia and the greater Washington DC area.
I believe success in school is based on many factors. When I tutor students, I focus on:

test taking strategies

positive lifestyle habits
Whether working with a large class or working with students individually, I strive to identify how different people are motivated. Then I develop a plan that creates an environment where they are most inclined to challenge themselves. Have a look around.
